NASPA Club #667: Northampton Scrabble Club

Hello! If you have reached this page, you are probably a fan of Scrabble. We have a Scrabble Club in Northampton, MA and you are welcome to be part of it, no matter how good, great, or poor you are at the game. The group members will be very happy to help you improve in a fun and social environment.

The Northampton Scrabble Club meets in the clean, separate, and quiet Community Room in the back of Burger King (344 King Street in Northampton) every Monday evening, including minor holidays. We start our first game at 5:30, though we start at 4:30 between Memorial Day and Labor Day, and sometimes we start at 4:30 by agreement on other weeks. Usually we play later than 9:00, sometimes by a couple hours. You do NOT have to come for the first game--you can come in at any time, and you are free to leave after any game.

This is the only club in Western Massachusetts officially affiliated with the North American Scrabble Players Association (NASPA). There are a few other, smaller, groups in the area that I know of. Ask me if you want to know more.

We aren't far from Route 91, and we've had players join us from Easthampton, Florence, Amherst, Springfield, Chicopee, Greenfield, Westfield, New Hampshire and even Vermont! Come check us out.

If you want more information, want to share Scrabble information, or just want to play some Scrabble, show up to Club or you can email the club's director, Brett Constantine, at NohoScrabble at gmail dot com. If you prefer to call, you can reach him at 413-387-9678.

This page was last updated 9/4/17, and the club has been around for almost a decade, so the information is still accurate!
