"It's hard to be religious when certain people are never incinerated by bolts of lightning." --Calvin & Hobbes
The US government is being run mostly by huge corporations, most politicians are corrupt, the media is completely slanted...
"Blah blah blah... What can I do about it? It's not going to change."
It takes a change in public perception. To do that we need a lot of information that isn't filtered and censored. And we need open discussions, where all major views are expressed. That's all on the internet. But there's also a lot of garbage on the internet.
How do you find the good pages? Well, that's where the internet really shines. Find a few good sites, and click away.
Firstly, I think we need a good source of news. I am told over and over again that people in other countries know what's really going on in the US more than most US citizens. So first I'd like to recommend getting news about the US from other places in the world. I've heard that http://www.cbc.ca/ is a good source. http://en.wikinews.org/wiki/Main_Page seems to be a good site too. Please post more here.
