anytocbpng

anytocbpng is an image filter that gives you an idea of what red-green colorblind people see. We will never know exactly what it looks like to them, but this filter gives you a very accurate picture of what colors they can tell apart, etc..

You are free download anytocbpng, share it, change it etc.... it's free software! (It's licensed under the GNU GPL.)

The trouble with red/green colorblindness is that red and green are indistinguishable. So Jason Woofenden wrote this little program to average the red and green values for each pixel, thus creating an image where red and green are indistinguishable.

This process results in the following color palette:

I think this is most eye opening if you first take a good look at the resulting image. Then look at the original. You may be surprised.
